A woman was injured when she was hit by a white van in front of the Domestica Showroom in Valley Road, Msida at around 6pm. Her condition is not yet known.

The woman, who had just finished work and was crossing the road to go to her car when the accident happened, was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Eyewitnesses said that an accident had been bound to happen in the area because there were no traffic lights or pedestrian crossings.
