Woman, girl, injured in accident
A girl and a woman were injured in a traffic accident in December 13 Road, Marsa, early this morning. They are not in a critical condition.
The police said the accident happened at 1.45am when a Volkswagen Golf driven by a 36-year-old man from Senglea lost control and crashed into a tree. The driver was not injured.
The woman, 32, from Zabbar, and the 13-year-old girl from Xghajra were his passengers. The woman was grievously injured but is not in a critical condition and the girl suffered slight injuries.

Its about time that the authorities ought to do something to stop trees jumping in the middle of the roads and also roads becoming slippery all of a sudden. How are the driving instructors teaching the would be drivers to drive and are the driving tests examiners being strict when examining the would be drivers for their license?
