Lucas: Brazilian international midfielder Lucas Moura is all set to make his debut for Paris SG in a friendly in Qatar. Lucas, 20, signed from Sao Paulo in the summer on a four-and-a-half-year deal. The Brazilian could make his debut in a friendly against Qatari cham-pions Lekhwiya tomorrow, four days before PSG’s French Cup round-of-64 match against Arras in Calais on January 6.

Astori: Defender Davide Astori will be leaving Cagliari this month as the club reported heavy losses in the first half of the campaign. Juventus and Napoli are interested in signing the 25-year-old Italy international but Premier League duo Everton and Southampton are also keeping tabs on the situation. Cagliari’s asking price for Astori will be no less than €10 million.

Coleman: Everton defender Seamus Coleman has signed a new five-and-a-half-year contract with the club. It means the 24-year-old Ireland international has extended his stay at Goodison Park until the summer of 2018. “I’m over the moon. I’m glad to get it all done and to sign for so long at a club like Everton is a great achievement – I want to be here for as long as possible,” he said.

Nzonzi: Stoke midfielder Steven Nzonzi is available to face Premier League champions Manchester City today after appealing against his sending-off against South-ampton. Nzonzi was shown the red card for a stamp on Southampton’s Jack Cork during a 3-3 draw on Saturday. As there are not two working days before Stoke’s trip to face the champions, Nzonzi will be able to play in his side’s next match.

Rocchi: Veteran striker Tommaso Rocchi is set to quit Lazio this month for a move to Inter with the fee reported to be in the region of €300,000. Reports said the deal for the 35-year-old forward is almost done. Rocchi will sign a short-term deal with an option for another season.

Nasri: Manchester City have decided not to appeal against Samir Nasri’s controversial sending-off at Norwich City at the weekend. The France forward was dismissed in the first half of the champions’ 4-3 Premier League win at Carrow Road for an alleged headbutt at Sebastien Bassong just before half-time.

Southampton: Southampton will again be without captain Adam Lallana when Arsenal visit St Mary’s today. The severity of the 24-year-old’s knee injury is being kept under wraps, although manager Nigel Adkins has admitted he will not be able to face the Gunners. Right-back Nathaniel Clyne is a doubt with a knee complaint that forced him to miss Saturday’s 3-3 draw at Stoke City.
