Oman to sponsor students at University

A memorandum of understanding on collaboration in higher education was recently signed between University rector Juanito Camilleri and Rawya Saud Albusaidi, Minister of Higher Education of Oman.

Omani students will now be able to receive state scholarships to enrol for studies at the University.

The signing of the memorandum also foresees the development of joint collaboration projects and activities aimed at academic exchange and joint research.

Prof. Camilleri also held a number of meetings at Sultan Qaboos University, the University of Nizwa, the College of Applied Sciences in Nizwa and the Research Council, during which various proposals were discussed.
