Respite and day services financed by the state are among the recommendations being made to political parties for their electoral programme by the Forum for Organisations which provide Residential Care for People with a Disability.

The Forum, made up of Dar Pirotta, Dar tal-Providenza, Fondazzjoni Arka, Fondazzjoni Nazarath, Fondazzjoni għas-Servizzi ta’ Respite Care (Dar il-Kaptan) and Fondazzjoni Wens.
