Quad bikes are not for road use; these are off-road machines.

When shall quad bike drivers understand the instability of these bikes in an emergency manuver.
These bikes have all the prerequisits for instability, high centre of gravity , small wheels, no camber on the front wheels.
These are made to replace horses and camels in open country not in Malta's overcrowded roads.

I had seen an awful quadbike accident overseas involving several deaths of minors. I once saw children of 5 DRIVING quad bikes and approached their parents, who took absolutely no notice of my warning. In the end if harm comes to these children can the parents say they were not warned? Why license such vehicles without proper enforcement on the roads? Same goes for motorized cycles.

A 5-yr old boy, a passenger on a quadbike? Some responsibility, these parents!

I didnt read that the man was the boys` father anywhere, why draw conclusions Mr Farrugia ? It could really be so after all but its unknown as yet.

Why does it make one irresponsible just for being a passenger on a bike (a 4 wheel one for that matter)?
