Bear in mind that Banif is not the largest bank in Malta and yet it is still the largest contribution. In June the Times had published this...

It shows pretty much the profits of the banks in 2011 and how Banif raised the bar for other profit-making companies to really give something back!

It's only fair that Banif Bank is advertised as the best donor in l-Istrina as most media lauded HSBC and BOV as being the best benefactors.

not that i want to sound picky and credit were is due. Certainly nothing hides the fact that banif matched contributions for the fun run however if other banks pulled out a larger amount out of their own pocket it would not be the right thing to say the largest contribution was banif's!
