“Unless we challenge ourselves to be innovative and creative, we will never advance, we’ll just keep doing the same things over and over again,” said Euro Med Connect Coop founder Joseph Woods during a seminar for students held recently by the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology’s Institute of Business and Commerce.

The seminar was held to stress the importance of creative thinking and innovation and to offer students extra-curricular training that helps develop their career prospects, as well as their social and personal potential.

Woods insisted that everyone could adopt creative thinking and innovation to improve quality of life. “Google, Skype and Facebook were all created by students,” he pointed out.

Urging them not to stifle their creativity, he asked: “What are Maltese students ready to offer?”

The students later took part in workshops to stimulate their creative thinking skills.
