FIBA Europe general secretary Kamil Novak is currently on a short visit to Malta. During his stay here, Novak, 45, will have the opportunity to take a close look at the work being carried out by the Malta Basketball Association with a view to providing financial assistance through a number of schemes offered by the European governing body. Novak, a former Czech international player, was elected to the FIBA Europe committee last October, replacing Nar Zanolin who was relieved of his duties in May.
