Steve Camilleri was again in scoring mood last weekend when his team RN Bogliasco drew 10-10 at home to CC Ortigia who grabbed a last-gasp equaliser.

The Maltese stalwart netted a second consecutive nap-hand after scoring five in his team’s 12-11 away win over CN Posillipo late last month. Bogliasco are currently in sixth place with 10 points in the Serie A1 12-team Italian top division.

Camilleri has scored 19 goals in seven matches so far, a tally which is well over a third of his team’s scoring total.

He is his team’s current top marksman and lies fifth in the overall scorers’ standings which features 122 players.

The Neptunes player, who inspired his club to a domestic cup and league double last summer, will be back in Malta for the Christmas and New Year period.

During his stay here, Camilleri is expected to be presented with the BOV 2012 player of the year award.
