@ Noel Damato: I find it very odd that you mention EFRU out of the 4 organisations that are involved in Rescue and First Aid. Is there a hidden agenda? Is it because you have been mis-informed? or is it out of pure ignorance? I suggest you visit www.efru.org and learn about the work EFRU does, the assistance it gives to the CPD and other charitable organisations like Puttinu, Inspire, Hospice etc

having 4 cats doesn't make you an animal lover. you may be just a cat lover. or a breeder...money lover

Finally someone with common sense, willing to say what many think. Many whose equal right to a divergent opinion is drowned by a justified fear of incurring the wrath and insolence of the "righteous" animal rights slacktivists. Well said Mr Michael Borg.

MCCF- Please publish the list of the concerned NGO's, people have a right to know who they are donating to!

What's wrong with helping those associations that take care of animals? Don't you know they need financial help as well? Don't the animals in sanctuaries need food, vet care, medication, operations and all the things the luxky domestic cat/dog needs? If they don't get help how will these groups of people (all volunteers) cope with the expenses? They don't receive millions of euro after all!

Michael after all we are animals too, including you. But they say that we are kind off more intelligent than than the 4 legged ones. But offcourse such statement does not apply to everyone.
