Four migrants leave for Portugal

Four Sudanese men who arrived in Malta as migrants have left today for Portugal.

Their departure brings the number of migrants who have been resettled from Malta since 2005 to 1,810 of whom 420 were repatriated this year 2012.

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) office in Malta, the International Organisation for Migration and the Ministry for Home Affairs were involved with the authorities of Portugal at various stages of this relocation process.

I don't like all these non EU immigrants roaming our streets in Malta, but you are right, why should we send them to other countries, and not back to their own country?

You get a lot of your ex colonials back as Portugal was a colonial power.
We Maltese never colonized anyone, in fact we were a colony ourselves.
But I agree the Sudanese should be sent to the Sudan.
