Engineers recognised for excellence
Joseph Mifsud, Charles Cuschieri and Hoter Ltd were presented with awards at the 11th Malta Engineering Excellence Awards.
More than 250 engineers and guests attended this year’s ceremony organised by the Chamber of Engineers at St John’s Cavalier.
The awards were presented by Chamber president Saviour Baldacchino and the US Embassy’s Lieutenant Commander William Woytyra.
Charles Cuschieri (left) was presented with the Leadership Award, Prof. Joseph Mifsud (centre) with the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Marco Cremona with the award for Industrial Excellence for his Hoter system.

Engineers are more reliable than politicians,judges,lawyers,bankers,etc!
The latter make 'good entertainers' but release more 'hot air' that worsens 'climate',and maybe affect 'climate change'?
Perhaps a 'Monti' solution for Malta would not be such a bad thing!
