6PM, the ICT products and services company, has won a major contract to deliver its document management system for medical records to a major NHS Trust in the UK.

The solution will require significant integration to the hospital’s core clinical systems, making 6PM a strategic supplier. As part of the solution, 6PM will be rolling out the Care Solutions document management system for medical records.

It will be integrated with several of the trust’s clinical systems, including a clinical portal. The system allows the scanning of all the medical records held by the Trust, which are then uploaded online and integrated into a record management solution.

The value of the contract for the first phase for 6PM services exceeds £400,000 and will be delivered by April in preparation for phase two.

“This is a significant contract using consultants from all our geographical locations across Europe and is further evidence of the UK health market recognising the expertise that 6PM now have in this area,” 6PM Holdings plc deputy chief executive Steve Wightman said.

Established in 1996 and headquartered in Naxxar, 6PM has a team of more than 100 technology consultants. It offers a vast range of ICT services and products which include business intelligence and data warehousing consultancy. Its client portfolio includes Capgemini, BT, the NHS and Vodafone.
