Well done labour. Considering the horrible conditions families are going through, such a sum should be appreciated 5x as much as people have really cleaned their pockets to give that little contribution which all in all resulted in an encouraging sum. Wish Labour well.

"A little from everyone, not a lot from a few." That was how Barak Obama got his funding in 2008.

It helped counter the extremely large donations from the top 1% to the Republican party. After all few people can afford $40,000 a plate fund raisers that the Republicans often have.

It's nice to see that the PL is practicing the same Obama policy in Malta.

They say don't make it a political arguement... Why? Is it because PL have been increasing their funding year after year? Or maybe is it because it's quite a nice amount of money considering Maltese are starving and not making it to the end of the month?

If 70,000 people donated the minimum amount which was what? 6 Euros? It would be more than enough to collect that figure. I was looking at the messages the PL was receiving during this activity and there were many messages labeled as "EX-PN". I'm one of those people and I feel proud to take this step after all these elections voting for PN! Others should follow to see a brighter future for Malta!
