The Malta Olympic Committee has expressed confidence in Judge Lino Farrugia Sacco and secretary general Joe Cassar, who are allegedly involved in a scandal related to the sale of the Sochi Winter Olympic tickets.

The committee said that the conclusions of the International Olympic Committee's ethics commission showed that they were not involved in any type of corruption, black market or illegal sales of tickets.

What was reported by the media in this regard was false, the MOC said.
