Milan: Milan have announced a “commercial partnership” with Chinese top flight club Guangzhou Evergrande, the Serie A giants announced yesterday. No details were released by the Rossoneri, whose CEO Adriano Galliani concluded the deal by a handshake with Guangzhou president Liu Jong Zhuo. Milan said “Galliani gave the Chinese (club) president a shirt with 8-Liu printed on the back”.

FA Cup: Bradford were given fresh reason to celebrate yesterday when they won an appeal against their expulsion from the FA Cup for fielding an ineligible player. The fourth-tier club, who stunned Arsenal in the League Cup quarter-finals on Tuesday, were removed from the FA Cup because they did not receive permission in time for Newcastle loanee Curtis Good to play in their second-round tie with Brentford in November.

Keita: Mali international Seydou Keita trained with Barcelona yesterday as he recovers from a groin injury picked up while playing for his China club Dalian Aerbin. “Seydou Keita is in Barcelona. The Mali star is in a race against time to be fit to play in the 2013 Africa Cup next mont,” a statement said.

Destro: Roma striker Mattia Destro will miss Sunday’s trip to Chievo after injuring his leg during Tuesday’s Coppa Italia win. The 21-year-old scored the final goal of a 3-0 victory over Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico before limping off the pitch midway through the second half.

Dunga: Dunga has been named as coach of Internacional, his first coaching job since leading Brazil at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. The Porto Alegre club confirmed the appointment on their website yesterday. Dunga coached Brazil for four years, winning the Copa America in 2007 and the Confederations Cup in 2009.

Downes: Wally Downes has left his position as West Ham United first-team coach. Downes joined the Hammers as a defensive coach under Avram Grant in November 2010 and was then promoted by the Israeli’s successor Sam Allardyce in the summer of 2011. The 51-year-old helped Allardyce achieve promotion to the Premier League at the first time of asking, but it is understood that he left the London club this week.
