Some Libyans in Malta today met in front of their embassy in Balzan and at City Gate to request the removal of certain people who were involved in the Gaddafi administration from positions of importance within the Libyan government.

Unless this was done, they claimed, the war would have been in vain and people would have shed their blood for nothing.

The Libyans presented a letter to the Charge d’Affairs in Malta Mohammed M A Elghirani to pass on to the Libyan government.

Dr Elghirani said that, as free man in Libya, he would pass the letter on to the Libyan authorities.
