Emirates is offering a special package in collaboration with the five-star Hilton Cyprus Hotel.

The offer is valid from Saturday until January 15.

Prices start from €284 per person inclusive of economy class travel on Emirates Airline, airport taxes, fuel surcharge and three nights in a double/twin room at the Hilton Cyprus, including breakfast.

For an extra €30, guests can upgrade to a more spacious room and will also have complimentary access to the Executive Lounge and Hiltonia Health Club.

In addition, the package includes a 20 per cent discount on any spa treatment at the Hiltonia. The Hilton Cyprus is centrally located in Nicosia within walking distance of the shopping and entertainment areas.

It has two bars and restaurants, a fully-equipped fitness centre, two swimming pools, squash courts and tennis courts.

Car hire can also be booked directly at the Hilton Cyprus and the hotel provides parking facilities.

Cyprus offers a range of sites and activities. The island is dominated by the Troodos Mountains, which are often swathed in snow during late December and early January.

Limassol is the island’s second city with excellent shopping facilities and a wide choice of restaurants. Larnaca offers fine museums and a lively market, while Pafos is centred around its pretty harbour lined with restaurants and bars.

Emirates operates a daily flight from Malta to Larnaca, Cyprus.

EK 108 departs Malta International Airport (MIA) at 2.45pm and arrives in Larnaca at 6.10pm.

The return flight EK 107 departs from Larnaca at 11.30am and arrives in Malta at 1.20pm
