Heaven opened a magic lane today “to a place behind the sun, just a step beyond the rain” inspiring readers to take out their cameras and shoot the multicoloured light in the sky.
The rain drizzled throughout the day with “snow flurries” reported in certain areas, including Qormi and Birkirkara.

Snow is impossible to reach ground unless the air temperature is 4 degrees or below. The air temperature in Qormi today is 12 degrees. However, if something to that effect was reported, it is sleet.

In Canada we call it wet snow.
What you're calling sleet we call freezing rain which falls much faster than regular or wet snow.
