Gioielleria Zampa has recently added Fabergé to its inventory of luxury lines.
Fabergé’s luxury house, which offers high and fine jewellery collections as well as timepieces and men’s accessories, has managed to strike the perfect balance between storytelling and style, lending to discerning customers a fresh and intriguing take on haute joaillerie.
Each piece tells a story that is somehow related to the opulent history of the brand, while evoking a current and cutting-edge appeal. Les Favorites de Fabergé, for example, features lavish collections of intricately designed and exquisitely crafted fine jewellery egg pendants, reinterpreting iconic Fabergé themes in a way that has found favour with the fashion elite, who are often seen decadently layering these pendants like charms.
The most recent contemporary Fabergé collection is the sculptural Treillage line. It effortlessly depicts the striking juxtaposition between heritage and modernity that has become the modern-day hallmark of Fabergé.
This collection is characterised by delicate quilting, in 18 carat yellow, rose or white gold, seamlessly embellished by diamond or multi-coloured gem studs.
The Treillage collection, which is made up of rings, earrings, cufflinks and pendants, takes its inspiration from the sumptuous furnishings of the erstwhile Romanov palaces as well as the decorative design of the Belle Époque movement.
In addition to these historical references, the fusion of fabric and jewels beautifully shows off Fabergé’s contemporary edge and its superlative craftsmanship.
An exciting new extension of the existing Treillage prêt-à-porter collection is the Bandeau rings. The design DNA of the Treillage ring draws on a bold, modern interpretation of the iconic Fabergé egg, with its smooth and sculptural lines.
The rings are currently available in either polished or brushed rose or white gold, all studded with delicate white diamonds. These discreet yet instantly recognisable gems are set to become as the original eggs, so much so that the September issue of Paris Vogue praised the Bandeau rings in its Jewellery Obsession of the Day feature.
Gioielleria Zampa is located in Republic and St Luċija streets, Valletta, and at Hilton Portomaso.
