Culinary delights and crafts from the Majjistral territory lie at the heart of a Christmas festival at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre in Ta ’ Qali this weekend.

Combining art, live music and a rich blend of local delicacies, the festival, organised by Majjistral Action Group Foundation (MAGF), aims to promote the natural park’s 16 rural localities and local products.

Activities include culinary competitions between chefs and enthusiasts, artists working on site, performances by local band clubs and choir recitals.

There will also be various stalls with local wine, beer, honey, olive oil and crafts, where local artisans can promote their products and generate additional revenue through their sales.

Entry to the festival is free. Opening times: Friday from 5pm to 10pm; Saturday, from 10am to 10pm; and Sunday, from 10am to 9pm.
