A car belonging to Terence Gialanze, 24, was found yesterday in Qawra, almost a week after the man went missing.

Mr Gialanze’s black Fiat Cinque Cento was discovered parked on a street and was collected by police officers for forensic investigations.

The young man’s sister, Kersty Portelli, yesterday posted an appeal on her Facebook wall for information on her brother’s whereabouts.

She asked people to share her brother’s photo and spoke of the family’s concern, especially after the past day’s bad weather.

In a statement the police again turned to the public for help.

The young man is six feet tall with short brown hair and was last wearing a light blue track suit.

Anybody spotting him or with any information on his whereabouts can call confidentially on 119 or report to the closest police station.
