GO announces Christmas offers

GO has announced a series of offers for the Christmas period.

It said that GO Home Pack Silver and Gold Interactive customers have the opportunity to upgrade to Home Pack Interactive HD and be entitled to a voucher that is redeemable on a free Samsung Galaxy Next S 5570i mobile phone or a €149 discount on a range of smartphones.

Those planning to upgrade their Home Pack are being offered a three-month free upgrade to Gold TV, upon subscribing to Home Pack Silver €33. Those already a Home Pack Silver €33 are being offered an upgrade to Home Pack Gold €42, with a monthly fee of €33 for the first three  months.

Those switching to GO this Christmas  with a Pay As You GO mobile connection will get 800 free minutes to GO mobile numbers and 250MB of mobile internet.  

There are also offers on top-up plans and special offers on new Smartphones.

Plus nearly daily SMS's enticing us to participate in a "lottery" at rip-off sms charges....how's that for thanking our loyalty !!

We don't have really much of a choice do we!

All the ISP's were crushed by GO's uncompetitive and illegal practices. But the MCA preferred to stay on the side and watch so as not to irritate the Smart city investors, and the minister.

Now, as usual, it is Joe public who suffer the unhealthy and dominant Internet market where GO and Melita dictate to us the level of service.
