• The Gozo Bird Breeders Society will be holding a bird show at the Gozo Sports Complex in Victoria today from 9am to 8pm.

• Pirates in an Adventure with Scientists will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm.

• Masses at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary will be said today at 6.15, 8.30, 10 and 11.15am and 5pm, followed by the recital of the rosary and Eucharistic benediction.

• A Christmas bazaar is being held at St Anthony Centre at the convent of the Franciscan Friars in Għajnsielem today from 7.30am to noon and from 4 to 7.30pm.

• The Dun Mikiel Attard Group will be holding a prayer meeting at Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Ta’ Ħamet) church on Thursday at 7pm.

• The feast of the Immaculate Conception will be celebrated at the Franciscan Conventual Church in Victoria on Saturday. Għarb archpriest, Mgr Joseph Sultana, will lead a concelebrated Mass, with the participation of the Laudate Pueri choir, at 9.30am. The procession with the statue of the Immaculate Conception, accompanied by the La Stella Band of Victoria, will start at 5.45pm.

The feast of the Immaculate Conception will also be celebrated in Qala. Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will lead a concelebrated Mass at the Immaculate Conception sanctuary at 9.30am.

The traditional motorcycles pilgrimage from Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary will start at 1.30pm. Canon Joseph Zammit will bless the motorcycles and mementos will be distributed.

The procession with the statue of the Virgin Mary will start at 5pm, accompanied by the Ite ad Joseph Band of Qala.

• The Diocesan Eucharistic Movement will be holding a prayer evening at Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Ta’ Ħamet) church on Saturday at 8pm, followed by Mass at midnight.

• The Bethel Charismatic Group will be holding a prayer meeting at Our Lady of Pompeii church, Victoria, on Saturday at 7pm.
