Keep Calm and Creative, an art exhibition by students aged 10 to 14 at St Theresa College’s Boys’ Secondary School, Santa Venera, was inaugurated last Wednesday with the help of their art teachers and the support of various sponsors.

This is the second edition of this exhibition, which is held and organised on the students’ own initiative and co-ordinated by their art teacher Alexia Baldacchino.

In the process, the students learn what adult artists go through in order to organise such a project, including securing sponsorships, raising money to buy art materials, designing the exhibition poster, conducting public relations, holding meetings and liaising via e-mail with the school headmaster and college principal.

The exhibition is set up in the school’s media room. It is currently open to the college students and their parents and will be open to the public on Tuesday from 5.30 to 7.30pm.

For more information, call the Office of the Principal on 2149 1209.
