A section of the former Malta Shipbuilding site in Marsa is to be transformed into a Maritime Services Park, Finance Minister Tonio Fenech announced in the Budget speech this evening.

He said the area, covering 172,000 square metres, is close to Mcast and will be used for development on the same lines as the Aviation Park.

The Aviation Park itself will be extended to include the former Air Malta headquarters.
