PM praises Science Council
The Prime Minister this morning visited the offices of the Malta Council for Science and Technology and praised the staff for their work in research and innovation.
Dr Gonzi was taken around Villa Bighi, where the council is based, by chairman Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando and CEO Nicholas Sammut.
The research and Innovation fund doubled twice over in the past two years. From €350,000 in 2009, it has now increased to €1.6m.
The council had started off with two researchers in 2008 and now has over 90.

It would be greatly appreciated if the MCST could help me to further research and develop all or any of my 2 Maltese Patented inventions, and my European Patented invention. I tried to get some help from the MCST but could not.

Making available a more decently structured electronic copy of the Annual Report might have helped people to be able to read it on standard screens.
It can be read if you zoom on each page and move left to right repeatedly.... not rocket science but neither it is efficient!

Science and technology are excellent means to promote the wellbeing of man if they are pursued according to ethical norms and values which are not subject to man’s whim.
