Eva Macauda, who operates under the Eva Flair brand, continues to focus on the promotion of delicate fashion creations by refined, behind-the-scenes workshops of Italian craftsmanship, bringing the real Made in Italy to Malta once again.
A second private show-cum-sale of her selection of Italian fashion and design niche collections, mostly meticulously made by hand, was held at the Italian Ambassador’s residence in Malta, as part of her pilot project to support “il piccolo, bello e ben fatto” and promote it overseas.
Eva Flair had already chosen Malta for the first “internationalisation showcase” to offer the relatively innovative slow fashion concept of Italian quality at its finest, with the support of the Italian Embassy in Malta, the Istituto italiano di cultura and the Italo-Maltese Chamber of Commerce.
Eva Flair has been scouting for talent, with a focus on women and young designers, for her selection of top artisanship, with a vintage feel, that she is taking outside Italy.
It represents a more sustain-able rather than mainstream fashion, evident in the quality and unique-ness of the creations and those who design them.
The capsule collections of handmade fashion are the work of the hidden talent – the skills and artistry behind the top labels.
