The English-Speaking Union of Malta, a non-governmental charity that aims to increase English language fluency and proficiency locally, is seeking volunteers to support the organisation’s Arm of Support programme.
The programme is currently running a three-year project at St Margaret College’s Żabbar Primary A, whereby all Kinder 1, Kinder 2 and Year 1 pupils are improving their English language skills through tailor-made, engaging activities.
The project is led by a programme co-ordinator who interacts with the children on a daily basis together with the volunteers.
For more information or to volunteer contact Yvette Micallef on 7994 8866 or e-mail yvette.micallef@esumalta.org.
Volunteers may offer to help out for as little as once a week from 8am to 2pm, or for longer, if they wish.
