Having packed the Manoel Theatre for the past two weekends, the team behind hit comedy Legally Blonde The Musical will be bringing the show back for one night next Sunday at 6pm.

“It is very rare for a local show to have the opportunity to extend its run,” said director and co-producer Steve Casaletto.

“When we saw that tickets were running out, we took the necessary steps to bring Legally Blonde back for those who had not managed to see it. We opted for a 6pm slot as this will make it easier for some people to attend.”

Legally Blonde The Musical tells the story of Elle Woods as she follows her heart to Harvard Law School and discovers all sorts of wonderful things along the way. The performance includes various catchy numbers such as Omigod!, So Much Better and Legally Blonde.

The cast includes Jo Caruana as Elle, John Montanaro at Emmett, Daniel Lake as Warner, Pia Zammit as Paulette, Roger Tirazona as Professor Callahan, Krista Paris as Vivienne and Larissa Bonaci as Brooke – as well as a super-talented all-singing, all-dancing ensemble of performers. The creative team includes choreography by Kristina Schranz, vocal coaching by Denise Mulholland and musical direction by Paul Abela.

Legally Blonde (Malta) is produced by Mellow Drama, the company behind productions such as Yes, Prime Minister, Keeping Up Appearances and The 39 Steps.

Tickets for next Sunday’s show are available for €15.
