BORG. On November 21, ROSA BORG, née Vassallo, B.Pharm. aged 82, passed away peacefully at Villa Messina, Rabat, after a very long illness so bravely borne. She leaves to mourn her loss her loving and devoted husband Joe, her children Martin and his wife Muriel, Anton and his wife Sarah, Anne and her husband Francis Cuschieri, her sisters-in-law May Borg and Margaret Vassallo, her beloved grandchildren Sarah, Matthew and Malcolm, James, Katie and Joseph, Krista and Kurt, and their partners, her nephews and nieces, all other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Villa Messina today at 8.45am for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to The Malta Dem­entia Society, c/o Room 135, Pharmacy Building, University of Malta, Msida MSD2080, would be greatly appreciated. Heartfelt thanks to her doctors, as well as the wonderful staff and management at the Marigold Unit, Villa Messina. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

FARRUGIA. On November 22, ANTONIO, ex-Customs officer and ex-president and co-founder of the Spanish Circle, aged 92, of Żebbuġ and residing in Sliema, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Mari-Nieves Bermudes Ortigosa, his sons Mariano and his wife Rosa and Pio and his partner Catherine, his grandchildren Mariano, Claudia and her huband Juan, Emma and her partner Jordan, and Luke, his great-grandson George, his sister Paquita and her husband Juaquin, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 3pm for St Philip archparish church in Żebbuġ where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Żebbuġ. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, would be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

GALEA. On November 23, CHARLES, passed away peacefully, aged 67, surrounded by his family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Marion, née Farrugia, his children Kenneth and his wife Christina, née Zammit, Christian, Daniel and his fiancée Gail Schembri, his brother Eric and his wife Rosa, his sister-in-law Christine, widow of his twin brother Tony, his mother-in-law Yolanda, his sisters-in-law Sister Pauline Farrugia of St Dorothy’s Convent, and Etoile, his brothers-in-law Joseph and his wife Marion and Noel and his partner Nathalie, his precious grandchildren Chloe and Kay, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on November 26 at 8.45am for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan and Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Requiem Mass

Tomorrow’s 10am Mass at the Holy Family parish church, Iklin, will be offered for the repose of the soul of DENIS GHIRLANDO.

Today being the sixth anniversary of the passing of VICTOR TABONE, the 6.30pm Mass celebrated at Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, will be offered for the repose of his soul. The attendance of relatives and friends will be greatly appreciated.
