A new support group, Soar, has been set up by victims and survivors of domestic violence with the support of the St Jeanne Antide Foundation.

Elaine Compagno, who launched the new group, said the aim of the support group was to help victims move on and re-build the life skills and self assertiveness they may have lost during their difficult experience.

Based on the concept of “sisterhood” the group brings people who shared similar experience to support one another during dialogue groups.

Anyone who wishes to contact Soar can send an email to soarmalta@gmail.com or find Soar Malta on Facebook.
