Buses never turning up (2)
In Naxxar, we used to have two buses to go to Sliema, 21 and 23, but that has now changed. We now have only one bus, 225 (when it turns up), supposedly every half an hour. My wife and I stood at the Nutar bus stop on November 8 from 7 to 8am. Seven 31...
In Naxxar, we used to have two buses to go to Sliema, 21 and 23, but that has now changed. We now have only one bus, 225 (when it turns up), supposedly every half an hour. My wife and I stood at the Nutar bus stop on November 8 from 7 to 8am. Seven 31 buses passed by (two full, the rest empty) on their way to Valletta – besides those going the other way!
Again, on the 14th, we stood at the stop for 50 minutes before the 225 turned up. The new route that the bus takes is very good, so could we not have more buses on the Sliema route? Our bus stop is exposed to wind and rain, as we have no shelter, so standing there for any length of time is no joke.
They want us to use the buses but how can we do that if they do not turn up? Can Arriva and Transport Malta please look into this problem?
