Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology students, staff and anyone else looking to wind down after a week of study or work are invited to attend free weekly jamming and drumming sessions being held every Saturday at 3.30pm at the Mcast main campus in Paola.

Participants, who need not have any musical experience, take part in group drum playing, movement and listening activities.

In addition, the group may form an ensemble to play various pieces of music, take part in playing rhythm and experience improvisational music.

This helps participants reduce their social inhibition, increase interaction and empathy, and develop team-building.

This initiative is organised by Mcast in collaboration with local NGO Malta Tama Tnabar Association.
