I was so shocked when I heard the bad news of the death of Fr René Cilia’ (pictured). I just couldn’t believe it. I spent two nights thinking of his unique smile and happy outlook on life. He was always helping anyone in need. It was a pleasure having him in my class when he was at school.

Two years ago, my husband, Alfred, and I went to his first Mass and I received Holy Communion from him. Since then we never lost contact as he always texted me with lovely prayers.

Jesus picked the most beautiful flower and took Fr Cilia with him.

Dearest René, pray for your family and for us. I will never forget you. Your loving ex-teacher at De La Salle College.
