Egypt's Mursi says Israeli attacks on Gaza "unacceptable"

Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi said today that Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip were "unacceptable" and would lead to instability in the region.

"We are in contact with the people of Gaza and with Palestinians and we stand by them until we stop the aggression and we do not accept under any circumstances the continuation of this aggression on the Strip," Mursi said.

"The Israelis must realise that this aggression is unacceptable and would only lead to instability in the region and would negatively and greatly impact the security of the region," he said.

In a telephone conversation with U.S. President Barack Obama, Mursi said he discussed "ways to reach calm and end the aggression".

@Wilfred Camilleri
You seem to have no idea that what's called Israel is illegally occupying the Palestinian's lands since 1948 and this illegal occupation has been financially supported by your and others money as well as politicians that you may have voted for!

I think Israel are going to be taught a big lesson by their neighbours, as every Arab state is on their back, Israel will do well to try and resolve the situation by at least trying to respect the poor Palestinians and at least treat them as human beings, and not relying on the yanks for support.
