Egypt's Mursi says Israeli attacks on Gaza "unacceptable"
Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi said today that Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip were "unacceptable" and would lead to instability in the region.
"We are in contact with the people of Gaza and with Palestinians and we stand by them until we stop the aggression and we do not accept under any circumstances the continuation of this aggression on the Strip," Mursi said.
"The Israelis must realise that this aggression is unacceptable and would only lead to instability in the region and would negatively and greatly impact the security of the region," he said.
In a telephone conversation with U.S. President Barack Obama, Mursi said he discussed "ways to reach calm and end the aggression".

"Attacks on Gaza unacceptable", claims Egyptian President Mursi.
Indeed, for INNOCENT people are being dragged in this crazy feud, but on d other hand:
Are HUNDREDS of imported missiles fired at Israeli cities with INNOCENT civilians, incl. women & CHILDREN, acceptable?
D Arab Spring must now strive to strike a balance & work for a lasting PEACE between all peoples!!

this looks like another repetition of what happened back in 67 when Egypt chllanged the might of the Isreali army and was sent packing with its tanks between its legs in a matter of 6days.

Israel would be making a storm in a tea cup, I bet they keep on banking on the US, problem is the US would suffer economically too much if it did. Wouldn't be surprised if US bailed on them when push came to shove. Isn't US's business any way. If the regions EVER did unite against Israel, i wouldn't want to see what would happen. The suffering would be devastating.

So Mursi, shooting over 100 missiles into Israel is a gesture of peace? The Palestinians need to accept responsibility for their first own actions and that Israel will meet fire with fire. Aggression was started by the Palestinians ; Israel is simply reacting to it!

@Wilfred Camilleri
You seem to have no idea that what's called Israel is illegally occupying the Palestinian's lands since 1948 and this illegal occupation has been financially supported by your and others money as well as politicians that you may have voted for!

I think Israel are going to be taught a big lesson by their neighbours, as every Arab state is on their back, Israel will do well to try and resolve the situation by at least trying to respect the poor Palestinians and at least treat them as human beings, and not relying on the yanks for support.
