Prince Edward will be in Malta between November 19 and 25, the British High Commission said.

As chairman of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Council, the prince will be attending the 11th International Award Forum with his wife Sophie.

Their visit will start with a reception onboard helicopter carrier HMS Illustrious, berthed in Grand Harbour.

The Countess of Wessex is involved with charities working with children and people with disabilities and will visit the Playmobil factory in Ħal Far to meet young adults who graduated from the Inspire Foundation for Inclusion Adult Training and Employment Centre.

The couple will also visit the Helen Keller Resource Centre for Children with Special Needs in Qrendi.

The Countess of Wessex, as grand president of St John Ambulance in the Priory of England and the Islands, will present two ambulances donated by the East Midlands Ambulance Service and brought to Malta by the Royal Navy and Royal Fleet Auxiliary, to St John Ambulance Malta.
