About 100 children ran along the Sliema seafront yesterday morning to raise funds for The Ladybird Foundation, which helps seriously ill children realise their dreams. The charity event was organised by Steve Apap Bologna, Patrick Tabone, Peter Wirth and Tony Vella, who started their own run at Ċirkewwa at 6am, headed to Marsxlokk along the coast and joined up with the children and their families in Sliema, running a total of 51 kilometres for the worthy cause.
