11am The President presides over the launch of the Fine Arts Auction event at the Palace, Valletta.

1.30pm He is interviewed by Andrew Azzopardi for his programme Għandi Xi Ngħid at Radju Malta Television House in Guardamangia.

7.30pm He attends a reception hosted by Polish Ambassador Wojciech Ponikiewski on Polish National Day at Palazzo Parisio in Naxxar.

Tuesday

4pm Mrs Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund working committee at San Anton Palace.

7pm The President hosts a reception on the private viewing of works of art in connection of the Fine Arts Auction in aid of L-Istrina at the Palace, Valletta.

Wednesday

1030am The President receives Opposition Leader Joseph Muscat at San Anton Palace.

12.30pm He is presented with a donation in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund by Novartis Pharma Services at San Anton Palace.

7pm The President and Mrs Abela preside over a recital by pianist Charlene Farrugia and accordionist Franko Bozac at San Anton Palace.

Thursday

10am The President receives a courtesy call from the committee members of the Pinto Band St Sebatian Philharomic Society on its 150th anniversary at San Anton Palace.

Friday

Noon Mrs Abela presides over a press conference to launch L-Istrina Eurosport football nursery fun event at Eurosport in Birkirkara.

10.30am The President visits the Faculty of Engineering at the University, Tal-Qroqq.

2.30pm He receives a courtesy call from the international board members of the foundation Centesimus Annus Pro Pontifice at San Anton Palace.

6pm He hosts a commemorative event on the 300th anniversary from the birth of Canon Ġann Piet Franġisk Agius de Soldanis at the Palace, Valletta.

6.30pm Mrs Abela attends the Me Am Chic Women’s Expo 2012 at the Malta Fairs and Convention Centre in Ta’ Qali.
