Commemorative concert

The King’s Own Philharmonic Society of Valletta will hold a commemorative concert at the Catholic Institute in Floriana on Saturday at 7.30pm. This year the band is celebrating the 100th anniversary since it earned the title of Excellence in Algiers in 1912. To mark the occasion, the band, under the direction of Mro John Galea, will execute the same programme for which it received the title.
