Maltese photographer places first in international competition

Matthew Farrugia has been awarded first prize in the Wreck – Underwater Photography category of the International Underwater Photography Grand Prix, World ShootOut (www.worldshootout.org) with his entry "The Mystical Rozi" (above).
A total of 276 underwater photographers from 22 countries took part. The award winning ceremony was held in Eilat, Israel.
Mr Farrugia is a multi-disciplinary creative designer based in Malta.
