Blood monitoring in Great Siege Square

Members of the Malta Medical Students Association provided the public with free medical tests in Great Siege Square, Valletta, today, in preparation for World Diabetes Day, being celebrated worldwide on November 14.

The tests included blood glucose monitoring, blood pressure monitoring and Body Mass Index (BMI) testing. The public were also provided with information on diabetes and its prevention and stroke, (a common complication of diabetes and were given tips on how to lead a healthier lifestyle.

All years from 1st year to 5th year, the first years are usually trained by first years and second years.
