CASCUN. On November 6, at Karin Grech Rehabilitation Hospital, NIKOLA, aged 93, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Charlie and his wife Marija, Nina and her husband Charlie, Gaetano and his wife Luckie, Nicky and his wife Lora, and Emanuel and his wife Veronica, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said today at 3pm at Siġġiewi parish church, followed by interment at Siġġiewi cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, and the Little Sisters of the Poor, Ħamrun, will be greatly appreciated. Special thanks go to the staff at the Little Sisters of the Poor and the taff at RW2, RW3 and the Day Hospital at Karin Grech for their care and dedication. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
VELLA. On November 2, JOSEPH of Birżebbuġa, aged 86, widower of Florrie, passed away suddenly in Brussels. He leaves to mourn his loss his daughter Loranne, her husband Ramon and their son Samuel, Rena and Alfred, Grace and Richard, his brothers Salvinu, Carmel and his wife Maria, Caesar and his wife Phyllis, and Doris, widow of his brother Paul, his sisters Adelaide and her husband Maurice, Bridget and her husband Joseph, and Casilda, widow of Joseph, his brother-in-law Mario and his wife Evelyn, and Tony, widower of his sister-in-law Joyce, his nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.45pm for Birżebbuġa parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at St Gregory’s Cemetery, Żejtun. No flowers by request but donations to Dar Nazareth, Żejtun, will be greatly appreciated. May the Lord grant him eternal rest.
