Forestals has acquired document management company Rentastore Malta Limited from the Salvo Grima Group.
Rentastore provides a range services including digital scanning and electronic filing of documents, physical storage and archiving of documents, and secure shredding services.
It helps businesses reduce the costs and risks associated with document protection and storage and tailors solutions to suit clients’ needs ensuring compliance with regulatory or corporate requirements. Proposed solutions help to maximise office space, reduce or eliminate the need for on-site archives, while providing quick, easy access to archived documents.
The location of all document storage archive boxes is tracked by means of a computerised tracking system. Archive stores are purposely designed and customers may opt to store documents of particular importance in archives protected by an inert gas fire suppression system and controlled climate conditions.
“I have been impressed by the professionalism and competence of the Rentastore team, and excited about the prospects of bringing the operation on board into our commercial business-to-business portfolio,” Forestals Group chairman Tancred Tabone said. Commercial general manager Gordon Dimech said Rentastore’s services complemented those provided by Forestals’ IT arm to businesses. Forestals intends to continue to expand its portfolio of services for businesses.
