A public lecture on acupuncture and obesity will be held on November 13 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm at the University’s Archaeology Centre.

The lecture, organised by the University’s Confucius Institute and the Maltese Oriental Society, will be given by Dr Ma, head of the Mediterranean Regional Centre for Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Dr Ma will explain the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine, what acupuncture is, the benefits of acupuncture in treating obesity, and how it works. Those attending are to use Car Park 6.
