No Maltese have been seriously affected by Hurricane Sandy in the US, the Foreign Ministry said.

24 hour emergency telephone numbers aimed at giving assistance to Maltese nationals are available by the Embassy of Malta in Washington and the Permanent Representation of Malta in New York as follows:

  • Embassy of Malta in Washington – 01 202 716 3617
  • New York Mission Emergency number is 01 646 707 1176.
