Marsa council files judicial protest

The Marsa council has filed a judicial protest against Transport Malta and the Infrastructure Minister regarding the December 13 Road project.

The council said in its protest that the project had to benefit the people but it turned out that this was not the case

In its protest, the council said it was holding the authority and the minister responsible for the damages being suffered by residents.

Mela għax ma tgħidilhomx li l-proġett tajjeb u sar żball li jista jirranġa. Hekk kont ngħidilhom jien biex nikkunslahom. Filwaqt li 'niġġieled' kemm niflaħ biex l-iżball jirranġa. Fil-Marsa qattajt għaxar snin mill-isbaħ ta' ħajti u ħafna Marsin huma ħbieb tal-qalb tiegħi. Ma naqbilx max-xenati politiċi. Inti qatt smajt bil-kelma ġustizzja u bilanċ?

Like what Mr Saliba? The open centre and its surrounding?, the reactivation of the power station after the millions spent on the M'xlokk one?, the discusting odor that we had and still have to suffer both from the drainage and the power station both in Summer and in Winter.... Oh yes what a Blessing!!!!

Why!? Why do people have to bring in political parties in such discussions!? Agreed, both parties have defects and talents, however, this is a simple article about something that the council deems wrong! Where does it say it's PN/PL's fault?

Mr Saliba, will all due respect, it looks like you're one of those people who are brainwashed with Net News. Try to come over to Marsa and live there for a month. I'll bet you'll end up in front of their local council everyday filing complaints. Not to mention the problem with clothes changing colour to black while drying on the roof. Have some respect please!!
