CCTV shows teacher abusing child
A closed circuit television camera in a kindergarten in China has captured shocking images of a teacher tossing a four-year-old little girl to the ground.
The teacher carried on by kicking the child while she lay on the ground.
Finally she picked up the girl by her feet and dropped her face down on the ground.
Local media said the girl, who is mentally disabled, slipped into unconsciousness. She is now severely brain damaged.
The teacher initially denied any wrong doing. She has been prosecuted.

It seems China is on the other end of the rope as Malta. There, discipline verges on criminality while here in Malta discipline verges on nonexistent.
Why cannot we find the middle road?
We have too many 13 - 16 year old's who simply think they are untouchable by hanging out in a gang and drinking alcohol.

There is no middle road - violence to children on any level is totally unacceptable. And yes - they are and should be untouchable - find an alternative like punishment.

The indifference of the surrounding persons astounds me. It gives the impression that the teacher's improper behaviour is common practice within the kindergarten school!

Exactly My thoughts whilst watching this horrifying video. I even watched it twice as I couldn't believe the other teachers were so oblivious. Shocking..

while horrifying it is reality, and a lesson to us, we need CCTV in classrooms/halls and play grounds in schools, so we can protect our children, also having cameras installed in all schools might prevent children from taking drugs and also help prevent teen pregnaces and even protect them from pedofiles.
again i wish to say it is horrifying to watch a child being treated in this way

How exactly would CCTV in classrooms stop teenage pregnancy!? I think you'll find teenagers are not actually having sex in classrooms, if they are, school has certainly changed A LOT compared to when I was at school! Surely what would help that would be better sex education and a more adult, open view to sex which doesn't turn it into a taboo that teenagers will inherently seek out to defy us.

I would not only punish this teacher, but all those in the class for not even lifting a finger to help this poor defenseless girl. From what we can see, all present kept doing their duties, as if nothing was happening!
