Three Swiss holidaymakers were rescued from a capsized sailing boat off Dragonara Point yesterday afternoon.

They were sighted hanging onto the hull in rough seas and an armed forces search and rescue launch was sent out.

The AFM said the launch reached them within minutes and picked up two persons. The other was rescued by a private dinghy that happened to be in the vicinity.

They did not require medical assistance.
